Karena Johnson has worked as a professional theatre director since 1997. She spent five years as the Head of Theatre Programming at Oval House Theatre and has also worked as Artistic Director of Kushite Theatre Co and Acting Artistic Director of Contact Theatre, Manchester. Winner of a Jerwood Young Director Award, she now lives and works in London
