Kully began working in the arts in the mid 80’s as a stage manager and drama worker. In 1994 she became Artistic Director of Red Ladder Theatre Company and set up a number of initiatives to support new talent including the Asian Theatre School. In 1998 she became Artistic Advisor for Contact Theatre and in 2001, became Artistic Director of Leicester Haymarket Theatre. Kully created a diverse range of work from large scale epics to new works in non-theatre spaces
