Rani Moorthy
Writer, Performer, Artistic Director of Rasa Productions
Rani Moorthy was born in Malaysia to Sri Lankan parents in 1961. As her family escaped the Kuala Lumpar race riots of 1969 to a border town, Rani attended school across the border to Singapore, clutching her passport everyday. Her love for the arts was first inspired by The Sound of Music as a small child. Now a writer, peformer and Artistic Dirctor of Rasa Productions in Manchester, she has lived in England for twelve years.
