Film Africa is currently accepting submissions for the 2012 festival.

Film Africa, London's largest festival of African cinema and culture, is currently accepting film submissions for its 2012 festival. Film Africa 2012 will take place from 1 Nov to 11 Nov at venues across London. We are accepting feature length films, documentaries, experimental and short films by African filmmakers based in Africa or in the diaspora which cover any subject, and films by non-African filmmakers about Africa. An independent jury will again be presenting The Silver Baobab Award for Best Short African Film, at the close of the festival. Last year's winner of the award was Zambian Rungano Nyoni.
To submit a film to Film Africa 2012, please send a DVD screener to:

Lindiwe Dovey
Africa Department
SOAS
University of London
Thornhaugh Street
Russell Square
London
WC1H 0XG
United Kingdom

You must include a cover letter introducing yourself and your film and, most importantly, including an email address for correspondence. We regret that we will not be able to return screeners.

The deadline for receiving submissions is Friday 13 July.
