Making Great Art

What do you hope for Sustained Theatre to achieve? We interview Hassan Mahamadallie, Senior Diversity Officer at Arts Council England

By Sustained Theatre

Earlier this month, Sustained Theatre hosted a conference in Birmingham to promote intercultural dialogue and share best practise with European theatre-makers, keen to set up lasting networks with British artists and producers.

The conference, hosted jointly with EUCLID, allowed Sustained Theatre’sInternational Broker, Pervaiz Khan, to chair open and frank debate on how best to get culturally diverse British work toured abroad and how to keep the Sustained Theatre process evolving. Delegates were updated on the ongoing discussion between Sustained Theatre and the artists and Sustained Theatre and the Arts Council.

We caught a few of the attendees for a one-to-one interviewee for their thoughts and experiences
