Nitin Sawhney is a highly sought after as an acclaimed composer, musician and producer. One project that Nitin Sawhney has been involved with over the years has been Aftershock. Developed in partnership with seasoned producers Debra King and Jeremy Davis, the basis of the idea was that Nitin as Aftershocks curator would work with a group of musicians, singers and vocalists and after a few days of rehearsals with Nitin, perform their work to a live audience.
Sustained Theatre website met up with Nitin as he was midst rehearsal with a new musical collaboration between an assembled group of new artists from Manchester, Genova and Marseille.Taking place at Manchester’s
Band on the Wall for an incredible new one-off performance, the show sold out!
As always Sustained Theatre is always about new online user experimentation. We used a new HD Flip Camera to capture key elements of the rehearsals and interviews with the artists at the venue.
