Story of a young woman grieving the death of her brother travels to India and finds resolution through an unexpected friendship with a young homeless man.
The ‘picture frames’ theme ran through the furniture and doubled up as windows and doors. Set in England and India, the change in location was achieved with props and the ‘pictures’ opened to reveal a shop and shrine. Colourful suitcases and umbrella open to reveal a bustling market place. Themes of magic, transformation, identity, death, AIDS and family ties.
